Your credit is pulled twice during the process - once in the beginning and again right before closing. If your DTI (debt-to-income) ratio changes enough, this could cause a delay in closing your loan or, worse case, even cause you to be disqualified for a mortgage until DTI ratios return to pre-approval levels.
