Our National Philantropy Day Honoree..Reed Youmans! Reed has been an outstanding volunteer and supporter who has helped lead DCMH through the fundraising campaign for Paul's Place, in our effort to get approval from the City of Davis for the project and in moving our construction team forward to groundbreaking! Through his vision, determination and efforts, DCMH is proud to honor him as our Volunteer of the Year!!

Thanksgiving 2020 Due to the COVID pandemic, we will not be having a Thanksgiving Day meal this year. Hopefully, by next year we will be able to again host a community Thanksgiving Day meal. Thank You.

Creekside Update!! Just to update all of how Creekside will make a difference in the lives of so many of our community members...as of today we have housed 23 men, women and children who had been formerly homeless in safe, stable, and affordable housing at Creekside. Many thanks to all who helped us achieve this goal!!!

Creekside After years of meetings, planning and construction, Creekside is finally open for occupancy. What does that mean.....more affordable housing for the community and housing for homeless individuals and families. It consists of 80 one bedroom units and 10 2 bedroom units. We expect 18 units plus for homeless individuals and families. 18 critically needed permanent supportive housing units to help folks regain their dignity and live in safe, stable housing. Many thanks... for our partners in the project: Neighborhood Partners, Luke Watkins and David Thompson, and the John Stewart Company and their wonderful staff. To the City of Davis for approving the project. To our great staff, Becky, Harmony, Synda, Kelly, Deborah and Mike for helping all of these individuals transition from life on the streets to becoming permanently housed members of our community. Cesar Chavez Plaza and Creekside have made a life changing and vitally needed commitment to improve the lives of our neighbors. Our currently proposed Paul's Place will help expand the opportunity for another 18 additional individuals and families to become self sufficient, permanently housed and functioning members of the community of Davis.
