Danville Dentistry's Christmas Party was a success! It was a little "different" this year and we made the best of it! In light of the recent announcement from Governor Newsom that we are very close to strict restrictions reminiscent of March’s Shelter-in Place order, I wanted to touch base and let you know that we remain open and ready to serve you. The American Dental Society published an article on December 1st confirming the essential nature of our care. Our curre...nt ADA President, Daniel J. Klemmedson, stated, At this point in time, the American Dental Association firmly believes dental care can continue to be delivered safely. Guidance recommended by the ADA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention continue to safeguard the health of the public. Dental care is essential health care. Regular dental visits are important because treatment, as well as prevention of dental disease, helps keep people healthy." We remain dedicated to maintaining your health and have seen the fruit of our efforts by contributing zero to the spread of COVID-19. Happy Thanksgiving from Dr. Feyock! As many of us prepare for quieter Thanksgiving celebrations than we have ever had, I wanted to share some breathtaking perspective that a newly-homeless man shared while being interviewed on the news the other night. He said, "This Thanksgiving I am going to sit on a park bench, close my eyes, and remember all of the wonderful Thanksgivings I have celebrated over my lifetime. 63 out of 64 Thanksgivings ain't bad!" This Thanksgiving, may w...e focus on our gratitude and all that we have or have had. May we relish in the gift of a new day, in our health, in our accessibility to nourishment, and in the multitude of Thanksgiving celebrations that have filled our lives to date.
