Hello Families near and far! Both my online classes at Shawl-Anderson Dance Center could use some love. If you are able to share about both Dance with Me and Youth Yoga, I'd be grateful. We have a 2nd session starting this week and more kids are needed! I know online learning may be at a max for some but a shout-out it appreciated. Regardless I trust you and yours are doing well as we all make our way...

From the organizer: I am organizing a BLACK LIVES MATTER PEACEFUL MOTHER AND CHILD MARCH in Alameda tomorrow, Monday June 8th at 4pm meet in parking lot of Dragon Rouge... ... Why? Because, I’m a black woman, a mother, daughter, sister, friend and a frontline Healthcare Worker that has been tirelessly fighting the COVID-19 pandemic hands on and its time to continue to allow our youth the opportunity to speak up and speak out against the pandemic of racism . Our youth are not only the hope of today, they are the promise of tomorrow and deserve a platform to express themselves around this ongoing travesty. I’d like to invite you to join me and other mothers with their children at 4pm.WEAR A FACE MASK PLEASE! ALLIES WELCOME We will start on the Oakland side of the Park St. bridge, walk back over bridge, down Park Street, to Central Street then walk back. I’m requesting that this peaceful march involve people walking with their FISTS UP and POSTERS against racism supporting black lives matter, YELLING NO JUSTICE,NO PEACE, MOTHERS and YOUTH FOR BLACK LIVES MATTER! Please join us! Together We Aspire, Together We achieve! #NoJusticeNoPeace #KEEPTHEMOVEMENTALIVE #BlackLivesMatter
