So the studio has not been immune to the quarantine clean out that was all the rage early on. It’s been a rough year, y’all. Usually we’d be putting the final touches on our New Year’s Eve Party, filling balloons for the balloon drop, and buckling our dance shoes. Hopefully soon we can gather again and dance socially. Thank you to all who have supported us through this brutal year. We hope we will get to see you all again soon. Thanksgiving is over and it’s time to officially start listening to Christmas music (DJ Melanie’s official stance- no holiday tunes till day after turkey). So of course it’s time to pull up my playlist of all the Christmas songs I sprinkle throughout our dance parties (and just indundate you with during the Christmas Ball). But since we can’t gather for parties- here is my Spotify playlist where I throw my danceable Christmas goodies. Some good news and announcements! Dianna’s Studio of Dance would like to welcome Independent instructors Seth Coons & Berkley Hayes to our dancing Family!! They come to us from Arthur Murrays Ventura and are available for private lessons. We would also like to extend our heartiest congratulations to Steve and Marie Moore on their recent nuptials! We wish them many happy dances in their future! ... And finally we want to wish everyone a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving!

Open group classes start Tuesday Nov 17th at 7:30pm!!!! Beginning and Intermediate with Ms Shiela Advanced with Ms Mata ... There will be a 1/2 hr practice session after lesson include with the class. Price is $15 per session or 4 for $50 Bring a partner and a mask and make your reservation today as space will be limited! Greetings dance family, As we prepare for our soft re-opening we have several procedures in place to help everyone stay safe. As we reopen our studio many of you have questions, and I want to reassure you, our first priority is the health and safety of our clients and staff. This being said, we will have hand sanitizer, cleaning wipes, gloves and disinfectant spray available at the studio. The following changes are being implemented for your safety:... 1) Masks Students and instructors will be required to wear a mask (no exceptions). If you forget yours, we have them available for purchase. 2) Temperature Check All students, staff and guests will have their temperature taken. Anyone testing 99 or higher will be declined service and sent home. We will be using a NO TOUCH thermometer. 3) Washing Hands All clients and staff must wash hands before and after each lesson. Also, after coughing, sneezing, or blowing your nose. We understand this is the time for allergies. 4) Water Dispenser Our water dispenser will be temporarily discontinued. Please bring your own water container. Bottled water will be available for purchase upon request. Make sure to dispose or take with you all containers. 5) Questionnaire (Yes/No) a. Have you or anyone in your household have COVID-19? b. Are you experiencing a fever, cough, loss of taste or smell? c. Have you tested for COVID-19? d. If yes to any of the above, have you completed the COVID-19 self quarantine? 6) Lost and Found We will no longer save items left behind. It is your responsibility to take home all of your belongings. We are sorry for this inconvenience. This is due to health issue. At this time we must monitor the number of people allowed in our facility. You may be asked to wait in your car for a short time in order to avoid overcrowding. Also, if you have a child under 18 years, only one parent will be allowed to stay. This means family, friends and pets will limited. Your instructors will be adjusting their private lessons and limited group sessions in order to comply with space guidelines. Your instructor will schedule breaks between lessons, to allow time for our clients to check in and also wash their hands before the lesson. Each student, guest, and instructor will be asked to fill out a waiver and emergency form for tracking purposes and our records. We ask for your patience and understanding as we try to comply with the strict health mandated restrictions. We would also like to thank all of those students and friends who have been generous with their donations in helping us keep things going during this difficult time. Your continued support is truly appreciated. We still have a long road to go, but together we will get through this. We look forward to seeing you on the dance floor. Hello & Easter Greetings to all our students and friends. Due to the current COVID-19 situation, our studio has had to remain closed. We will have to cancel our Spring Showcase; but don't worry, we will reschedule once they let us reopen. We would like to thank all who have called with concerns of how they can help support our studio.... Since the Shelter In-Place order has been extended, we can now use your help and support. ONLINE ARGENTINE TANGO THURSDAYS Dear Tango students, As you all know, we are going through exceptional times. In order to be safe and cautious, especially due ...to the closeness of Tango and also due to the 15 DAYS TO SLOW THE SPREAD guideline. THURSDAY GROUP classes are CANCELLED for the rest of March. BUT, to make up for the next 2 classes (March 19th and 26th) and keep TANGO-ING from home..!! All students that signed up for the 4 classes series in March will be receiving by Email and/or Facebook a private link of a instructional video one Beginner/Int. and the other Int/Adv. depending on your level, made by me and partner (will be recap next time we have class) with the content and explanation of the classes along with some exercises that you can practice even if you can’t find a partner. What a new experience, I hope you like it. If you payed individual classes or your are not from my regular classes but you still want to receive the videos, please let me know so I can send you the link and you can make the payment next time we see each other. If you consider you don’t want this option, please let me know and I will hold these two classes payment towards next series. I hope we can all support one another in these difficult times to get through this. If by the end of the weekend you didn’t receive this link by any way, please let me know. Thank you all! UPDATE REGARDING COVID-19 Please Be Advised ... Due to the current COVID-19 situation and after much consideration we have decided to cancel all Tuesday and Friday group & dance socials. This includes our Saturday, March 21st St. Patrick’s Potluck. Private lessons will continue to be taught for those who wish to come in. This schedule will be in effect until April 3rd, at which time we will update you with any changes. For your safety we have set out: 1) Hand Sanitizers 2) Disinfectant Wipes 3) Boxes of Tissues 4) Plastic gloves upon request We ask you to please wash your hands thoroughly before and after each lesson. If you are ill please stay home for everyone’s safety. Please give your teacher at least 8 hours notice for a cancellation. We’ve had The Rogue festival in the house this past weekend and they will be taking g over this upcoming weekend as well. So come on out and get your dance fix tonight!! Tango class starts at 8pm and practice party begins at 9!!

The 19th Annual Fresno Rogue Festival will be happening March 6th throught the 14th. As a proud venue and sponser of the Rogue Festival, we will be going dark Friday, Saturday and Sunday as we play host to several of the Rogue performances. Check with your instructors for alternate locations for lessons.
