Why caterpillars? Why fingers? There is something so comforting about caterpillars knowing that they turn into goo before becoming a butterfly is something i think of often. Their purpose is to transform to shed to fly away eventually. I know there is a part of me of my childhood that i watched alice in wonderland and hoped i could find another world to escape to. A world i could find out who I truly was. Or maybe is was being read the hungry hungry caterpillar as a kid and ...longing to eat without reprehend or judgement. Now the fingers. I am one of those people who has to touch and feel and not to mention because of my high anxiety, sensory stims are abundant in my manurisms.
