Spent my day working on my new little FARM today. I got me a spot at the Root 66 Community Garden a non profit garden for all. Anybody that loves to garden should come on down. Very cheap, a 10’x10’ is $100.00 per year and that Includes water. That is $8.33 per month. I have a bigger area but, I agreed to clean up the trash, clear the weeds and haul it out. My friend loaned me a tractor and I am getting it done. Damn, it is a lot of work, have quite a few days invested now ...and the place is looking good and clean. There are some raised beds ready for a new gardener and I mixed about 25 tons of fresh planter mix up ant it is composting now. Ready in a few weeks. It is located behind Sears in the power line Corridor between Foothill and Rochester / Jack Benny.... The Root 66 Community Garden. I should have my area planted within the next few weeks.
