Our Recipients are touched by war. Every dollar turns into miles of fabric to wrap our Nominees in a healing and comforting Quilt of Valor. If you are able to ...donate, thank you for sharing the passion of our Mission. If you aren't able to donate, please share our message to your friends and families, or reach out to your local QOVF group and donate your time. We always need help, whether you sew or not. https://www.facebook.com/donate/224046265741325/ #QOVFGivingTuesday #GivingTuesday #OurWhy #QOVF

Always happy to share info about sister quilt shows. Featured quilter Pat Bryan, opportunity quilt ticket sale ends Feb 1st, and a vendor mall is sure to make this a unique virtual event! Check website for more info qs.southbayquiltersguild.org.

Mel Beaches’ Mod Molas workshop was well received via Zoom Saturday. From Julie Snow: 1) fully quilted, 2) the cut work begins, 3) the reveal, 4) the back side. Another fun sewing day. Hope to see you at the next workshop!

Wonderful zoom class yesterday with Mel Beach - Mod Molas. Fun to do a project we could get mostly finished in class. Here's mine!

From CVQ member Josie Prell: Years ago I made the dark red, blue and tan quilt for my sister, Jeri Plumhoff Dericco. It was a quilt inspired by a quilt hanging in the Shelbourne Quilt Museum in Vermont. Then I just finished the more patriotic quilt made with the flying geese blocks a few of us in the Conejo Valley Quilters guild exchanged with each other. I quilted it with 5 pointed stars and multi wavy lines for flag stripes. Now have a Fourth of July quilt!

Creative Grids is having an issue with foreign counterfeit rulers on Amazon. We are taking steps to stop the counterfeiters, but in the meantime here are know...n Amazon counterfeit sellers: Raymond Bart, Music Beikeyu, Choose Best, Denggulong, Sunitek and Lroom. Unfortunately Amazon is commingling their counterfeit inventory with other legitimate Amazon sellers. Therefore, even if you order from a legit Amazon seller you might receive a counterfeit. Until this issue is resolved, we suggest you purchase from your local quilt shop or one of the trusted online retailers. The Where to Buy tool allows you to find a Creative Grids retailer near you: https://www.creativegridsusa.com/wheretobuy
