TO MY CLIENTS AND FUTURE CLIENTS! On September 3rd a woman surrendered a dog she had found back in July to me. She hadn’t had any luck in finding the family and couldn’t care for him any longer. She had messaged me on a few occasions asking me to take him but soon changed her mind. On September 3rd she asked for my salon address and said she could no longer care for the dog. I then took the dog in, groomed him, and placed him with a rescue that i had told her about back in J...uly. Fast forward 5 days later and she said some man showed up on her porch saying it was his dog and asking for it back, with the dog no longer being in my care, by law the rescue asked for vet records and pictures to show proof it was his dog. I then asked for the mans contact info and she never sent it to me, said she lost it The following day, she texted me and personally asked for the dog back because her and her kids missed him. I told her there was nothing i could do at this point, that he was legally under the care of the rescue. She then proceeded to ask for the rescues number and is still harassing them, as well as me by posting me in groups on Facebook saying i stole the dog and gave him away. Please, if anyone has any questions, I’m 100% open to giving answers! I have picture proof of every interaction we have had. Thanks in advance. My heart hurts to know that I did everything in my power to help this dog, and it still doesn’t seem like it was enough. I am receiving threats and people are asking who i am and where i work. I’m very grateful that my clients know me and how much i pride myself on what i do and how much i love every dog that steps foot into my shop. Pictures attached below. I have all the messages, and if these don’t answer your questions, i can block out the number and show the other messages from July up until today. I have contacted the Local Authorities, they are aware of the situation.
