Repost from @ariana_dancesweird Just wrapped a two day folklorico workshop learning Carolina Armijo's original version of Son de la Negra with people I have been dancing with since I was about five or six years old and even some of the younger generations that I met a few years ago. It was amazing to pcme together with all the generations, and even guests from a folklorico group in Texas, and just share our memories and our experiences.
