We are happy to announce the next upcoming show, Lost Objects co-organized by Tracy Ren and Jess Young. Join us on IG Live this Friday August 14th @ 7pm for a virtual opening! Stay tuned for more about the show and artists. Lost Objects is an exhibition that brings together six artists of the Asian diaspora, all working to reconstruct familial and cultural objects, ideals, and histories; to reclaim and reimagine that which has been lost to the oppressive powers of colonial a...nd patriarchal systems. Through the physical and conceptual manipulation of material culture, craft processes, and virtual space, we both confront and critique our individual experiences with ambiguous loss while redefining our place within the social imaginary. By processing and (re)materializing these losses, we attempt to reorient and reclaim our identities as constituents of a whole. The show is co-organized by Tracy Ren and Jess Young, who will be exhibiting alongside Heesoo Kwon, Cathy Lu, Sherwin Rio, and Andrew Sungtaek. https://www.instagram.com/ctrlshftcollective/ https://ctrlshftcollective.com/LOST-OBJECTS

Our members take ownership and each members voice contributes to what the collective is. This requires playing an ac...tive role: putting in a few hours a week for meetings, events, and other collective duties. Though we are a rolling collective and love being a springboard, we expect a minimum 6-month commitment.
