The Cougar Chronicle is looking to hire an intern to work as an advertising sales representative for the 2020-2021 school year. Feel free to share this opportunity with anyone who may be interested. **INTERNSHIP ADVERTISING SALES REPRESENTATIVE** Gain valuable work experience by interning at CSUSM’s independent student newspaper, The Cougar Ch...ronicle. As an advertising sales rep, you will be responsible for selling advertisements to run in our newspaper and website. An ideal candidate will have experience in advertising, be comfortable reaching out to business owners to generate sales, work well in a team environment, and have excellent communication skills. Applicant must also be a current CSUSM undergraduate or graduate student. Payment will be on a commission basis. The intern will receive a 10% rate on the ad sales of returning customers and a 20% rate on the ad sales of new customers. Interns can also earn class credit if desired. Applicants who are available for both semesters of the 2020-2021 academic year (Fall 2020 and Spring 2021) are preferred. **Priority Deadline: August 15** Send completed application to Anneliese Esparza at [email protected] along with a résumé.
