In January, 48 students from Chile, Colombia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru, and Taiwan joined us for our virtual American Language and Culture Program (ALCP). Participants ranged from high school, undergraduate and graduate students to working professionals. ALCP courses covered American culture, special topics, and a student success seminar. The Online Innovation Boot Camp combines Design Thinking and Innovation in the Framework of Entrepreneurship. Smoke and ash are visible on campus due to the directional winds. Stay aware of the air quality conditions and take appropriate steps. CSUMB emergency operations and CAL-Fire are monitoring the situation. CSUMB supports the firefighting efforts by hosting CAL-Fire on campus with staging areas and housing.
