TODAY’S STUDENT SPOTLIGHT GOES TO: Tiffany Cordon! Tiffany is in the 2023 cohort, and is concentrating in Human Resources. She is from Torrance, and loves herself some boba, Philz, and other foodie adventures! Tiffany really enjoys writing, hiking, dancing, and reading. FUN FACT ALERT: She traveled alone to Barcelona the summer of her senior year (how cool is that?!) Also, she loves our BH events and her favorite one was the winter gala. Her ~dream~ job is to one day ...be a Chief HR Officer at a Fortune 500 Company (snazzy, right?) She interned with The Aerospace Corporation this last summer as a Diversity & Inclusion intern Her most recent job was as a Marketing Student Assistant at the College of Business and Economics She is the President of the Society of Excellence in Human Resources club on campus as well as an HR Board Member for the Center for Leadership Scholars A true rockstar with big dreams - the heart of BH! Great job Tiffany, keep it up!

Our final Vice President spotlight is featuring Brittney Delgado! Britney is a junior with a concentration in Finance and she’s the Vice President of Engagement. She oversees the Internal Engagement and Special Events teams in this position. During the year prior, she served as the Special Events Executive Director, where she put on last years Winter Galaand Spring Banquet! This past summer, Britney worked with American First Credit Union as a Commercial Real Estate inter...n , which she is continuing into the school year. During this internship, she learned how to fund, service, and process commercial real estate loans. She loved working with this company, because she got to work with one of the Vice President of the company! At CSUF, Britney has served on the College of Business and Economics Advisory Board, and in the program, she helped create programs and solutions for the CSUF College of Business and Economics students, such as their Executive in Residence Program.She’s also a Presidential Scholar and worked for the University President’s office as an office assistant and had the opportunity to see President Fram Virjee everyday! Today’s Vice President spotlight is featuring Xena Mohammed! She is a senior with a concentration in accounting and she’s our Vice President of Student Affairs. In this position, she oversees the Professional Development, Recruitment, and Community Outreach teams to expand the Business Honors Program and make every person and company know who we are. Over the summer, Xena worked with EY as an intern in their Assurance practice. During the 5-week virtual internship, she saw... the world of public accounting, and networked with interns from all across the country! She accepted a FULL-TIME OFFER with EY, and will be an Assurance Associate in the fall of 2021! Outside of BH, Xena has done martial arts for 16 years. During her time at CSUF, she was the Office Manager for her dad’s martial arts business and taught classes to children and teenagers! This experience as a martial arts instructor taught her what it takes to be a leader and the different avenues that motivate individuals. Hey Titans! Happy first day of school!! This week, we’re going to be highlighting our amazing Vice Presidents of the Business Honors Program. The first VP we will be featuring is Asha Bhattacharya! She is a senior and the Vice President of Public Relations. In this position, she oversees the Media Marketing, Website Marketing, and Offline Marketing teams to ensure quality deliverables that promote the Business Honors Program. Over the summer break, Asha worked as a Virtua...l Area Manager Intern with Amazon! Throughout this 8-week internship, she learned the in’s and out’s of the Area Manager role, while growing her leadership skills. During her time at CSUF, Asha worked alongside CSUF’s Housing and Residential Engagement Community, where she served as the Resident Student Association’s Program Director. She was also a Resident Advisor during her sophomore year, and a Senior Resident Advisor during her junior year - where she created an engaging living environment for CSUF residents. Asha is also a President’s Scholar and University Honors student, with a cumulative GPA of 4.0! She will be conducting her senior thesis on the link between mindset and female leadership emergence. Karissa will be the Executive Director of Offline Marketing this year. Her goal is to build the reputation of Business Honors across Southern California by connecting with the community and sharing students’ unique experiences with BH. Karissa is pursuing a duel concentration in Account...ing and Finance. Over the summer she attended Ernst & Young’s Global Perspectives Conference! This summer Karissa also focused on connecting with friends and colleagues, in addition to learning new cooking & banking skills! You have GOT to try her chicken katsu!! I’m Timmy Harris and I’m so excited to be your Executive Director for Media Marketing this year!My goal this year is to spread the word of CSUF Business Honors throughout the community, and capture the attention of high profile recruiters. My concentration is in marketing and I spent my summer working as an Optician in my hometowns’ optometry office! ... Happy Tuesday everyone! Today’s Executive Director spotlight goes to the wonderful Jinny Lee! Jinny will be the Executive Director of Website Marketing this coming year. Her goal is to improve the BH website by adding creative and innovative features to it. Jinny is a joint ISDS and Accounting concentration. This summer she was able to partake in PwC’s Internship Program! This summer she was also able to draw, play video games, read books, and she even taught hersel...f some new skateboard tricks!! Our annual Fall Kick Off is August 21st (THIS FRIDAY!!!) For new students, there will be a mandatory new student session from 8:30am to 10am. Our kickoff for ALL Business Honors students and cohorts will be from 10am to 12:30pm. Check your emails for the zoom link! (This is a mandatory event!!)
