Today we thank all of our UPD veterans and all others who have served!

The ladies of UPD are getting a head start on Movember. For the month of November, officers will be bringing attention to men's health issues by growing a mustache. check back at the end of the month for results!

Today, two of our officers provided escorts for Berry Creek residents.

Today is Thank a Police Officer Day! We would like to thank all of the police officers who serve our community. Thank you for dedicating yourself to a life of service. You are appreciated!

Another day, another or maybe

I, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution... On Constitution Day we celebrate the oath that all officers are sworn to uphold.

Yesterday our officers were treated to a pizza lunch. They even managed to save some for night shift.

As some evacuation orders have been downgraded, and the smoke has eased up a little, our officers were on patrol at Concow Reservoir this morning.

Earlier today we received this lovely note from a community member. It is such a thoughtful thank you!

It's "unbearably " smokey outside! Despite these conditions, our officers observed this local resident while providing mutual aid for the Bear Fire. Our officers were happy to see the wildlife in the area despite the smoke and devastation the fire has caused.

During the night, our officers working the North Complex Fire were tasked with assisting in the search for someone missing since the fire broke out. Fortunately the person was ultimately located and is safe. Please keep all of the responders and those who are still unaccounted for in your thoughts
