We want to take a minute and thank all of you for your patience on the DVD of Beauty and the Beast 2019! We haven't forgotten nor has the DVD producer. Remember, we had two casts with two shows each. It takes a lot of time in the best of circumstances. Hello, wonderful CSTARS family! If your Facebook Memories are like ours, right now you are seeing a lot of photos pop up from previous shows. This time of year we would usually have the post-show blues, or just be finishing up the run of a production. We know this year is different, but that doesn't mean we can celebrate all of our adventures - both the ones on the past and the ones still to come. Will you share your favorite CSTARS memory with us? We'd love to hear your stories and see your pictures, so comment away! Here's a throwback to last summer and our phenomenal cast of "Beauty and the Beast" - the sheep are getting ready to flock to the stage with their faithful shepherd, Teddy Hall.

CStars Summer 2020 Update Dear CSTARS Family, We hope this email finds you safe and in good health, and that you and your loved ones are holding up under these unprecedented circumstances.... It is with the heaviest of hearts that we ammoumce that CSTARS will not be holding a summer production in 2020. The safety of our cast and families has always been our priority and we can not ignore the state of the world at present. Our hopes are to be able to resume and meet again for our winter production. The board will revisit that when that time draws closer. We know the "aging-out" year is very special to those cast members and we are not forgetting that. As a special dispensation due to the extraordinary circumstances in which we find ourselves right now, students who would have aged out in the Summer of 2020 will be granted the opportunity participate in the Summer 2021 production. This does not mean that the age requirement for participation will be raised to include all 19 year olds in the summer of 2021; this opportunity will be available for those who have worked with CSTARS before and for whom this would have been their final summer. Please know we love and miss you all and we will meet again as soon as we are able. We understand that there will be many questions in the days to come, and you are welcome to email us at [email protected] at any time, and a board member will get back to you ASAP. We encourage you to follow our Facebook page throughout the summer, where we hope to be posting activities, challenges, events, and opportunities to digitally connect as time and demand allows.
