Student Advisory - March 12, 2020 To all students of Cañada College, College of San Mateo, and Skyline College: We have a few updates and reminders for you. A...ll in-person classes are canceled on Friday, March 13 and Monday, March 16 All online classes will continue as planned All offices and student services are closed on Friday, March 13 and Monday, March 16 Most classes will resume on Tuesday, March 17, online or in a distance learning format Some courses that cannot be offered online will be adapted or canceled. Your instructor will communicate directly with you if that is the case. The San Mateo County Community College District is taking these actions in order to help slow down the spread of the novel coronavirus in our community. Your health is the most important thing, and we need to keep everyone as healthy as possible. Your instructors are working very hard to adapt your courses so that we can continue your education while reducing your risk of exposure to coronavirus. Update from the ESL Center: The last day for TBA work in ESL Reading and Listening and Speaking classes is this Saturday, December 1st. However, the center will still be open as a quiet study space for all ESL students and for students in lab-only classes to complete their work until Monday, 12/10. Our wonderful peer tutors will be available until Friday 12/7.... Don't forget to check with your teachers about the requirements for completing your lab work!
