Yesterday we said a very bitter sweet Happy End of the Year to some amazing teens who have played a vital role in helping to make Arden-Arcade a safe and healthy community. They’ve devoted their time, energy and influence to others at their school and within the community. We wanted to honor them and celebrate them with a goodie bag filled with supplies and a $50 gift card. We also had some of our coalition members decorate their cars and conduct a parade to each home of our Youth who are part of our YOUTH RISING TOGETHER group! Thank you YRT for all of your efforts and helping make the world a better place. We wish had had pictures of all of students, but here are some #cshaa #safeandhealthy #ardenarcade #youthprevention

May is Mental Health Month! One of the ways to help with your mental health is to Create Healthy Routines. It can be easy to become overwhelmed with all that we have on our plate. With creating healthy routines, we can make sure we organize our day to where we take care of our tasks as well as take care of ourselves. #mentalhealthmonth #cshaa #safeandhealthy #youthprevention
It’s a marathon, not a sprint! If your teen is using drugs, it does not mean they are addicted. An early response is the best way to stop it before it snow balls into an addiction. You and your teen can grow through this! Your love, understanding, and patience will play the most vital role. Let them know that nobody will fight for them as hard as you will! #cshaa #safeandhealthy
Now is a good time to talk to your kids about substance use You are the most effective resource in preventing and reducing teen substance. #cshaa #safeandhealthy #teenprevention
