On July 17, 2020 we had our Annual Luau here at Crosswood Oaks Retirement Community. Our residents our able to come down to the dinning room. Where our Chef Winona had prepared Roasted Porky Pig, sweet and sour meatballs,island yam bake, seasoned veggies with a pineapple upside down cake for desert. Our residents were able to make their Lei's at a Arts and Crafts activity. That could be you discovering the difference here at Crosswood Oaks. Did you know Lei our constructed of... not just flowers but sea shells, seeds, nuts, feathers and even bones of various animals. A Lei is a common symbol of love, friendship, celebration, honor and greeting. In essence, its a symbol of Aloha. So Aloha to all of our families and friends.
