Happy Monday! Some exciting news from one of CRMSE's faculty members-- Steve Reed's book, "Cognitive Skills You Need For the 21st Century," was published over the summer with Oxford University Press. "My work on organizing knowledge is summarized in the attached article," said Reed. "I was surprised that the editor and reviewers were interested in my opinion of a variety of topics related to graduate education so I make recommendations at the end of the article." Read more about his work in an accompanying Oxford University Press blog on undergraduate instruction here: https://blog.oup.com//how-to-prepare-students-for-jobs-in/

As we continue to work together to reduce the spread of COVID-19, we remind our campus community to prioritize testing and follow public health guidelines. As ...announced earlier this week, all students who live in SDSU on-campus housing will be required to get COVID-19 tested, with limited exceptions. In support of providing additional testing options to students who live off campus, the San Diego Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) is further increasing testing capacity at SDSU’s Parma Payne Goodall Alumni Center. Read the full update regarding the COVID-19 testing requirement, how cases are counted on and off campus, our regional situation, and steps we continue to take to reduce the spread: https://bit.ly/3mCOhH5
