If I throw out a boathook from the boat and catch hold of the shore and pull, do I pull the shore to me, or do I pull myself to the shore? The snow has melted--at least from the most recent storm--and we're heading into February with the promise of spring in six weeks. It's also the month of the promise of Christ's resurrection with Lent beginning on Feb. 17.
