Psalm 77 begins with: Ps 77:1 I cry out in anguish with my voice to God, to God with my voice and he will hear me. (my translation) To cry out to God is one of the common expressions of lament. Anyone pop to mind? Spend the next minute or so praying for them, share the love and feel God’s presence.

Take a few moments over the next few days to think about some real practices or rhythms you could incorporate in keeping, observing and protecting a sabbath day that would help you really cease, rest and let God breathe his Word and love into you.
