The CDC has announced new guidelines for quarantine. You can reduce the number of days of quarantine after exposure if absolutely necessary. You can reduce your quarantine with a negative test, but the test needs to be done 5 days after quarantine begins and you should be asymptomatic. Quarantine can end after the 7th day with a negative test but you need to continue to monitor for symptoms. Alternatively, you can end quarantine at 10 days without a test if no symptoms have developed. The previous guideline of 14 days remains the safest option. #COVID19
