One year ago today! As spontaneous as I typically am, I am also a woman who enjoys tradition. I love taking the time to reflect back on all that God has done for me through His saving Grace of my Savior Jesus Christ! Some of my traditions are: reading through my year’s journal (letters to God) December 31; watching the Passion of the Christ movie every Resurrection Sunday; looking at my pictures and video of my ordination service every June 30 and adding this year looking... at pictures and watching the video of my Christ Presbyerian Church Lakewood Installation Service on October 27. I am currently with my mom on vacation and study leave. Tonight, we took some time to reflect on the most meaningful day of my life, my Installation Service as Pastor of Christ Presbyterian Church Lakewood. In the past year you may have heard me refer to this day as the best day of my lifeI am realizing now after watching the video of the service and reflecting that it would be more accurate to say the best day of my life was my Ordination Service to the RV Ministry and refer to this day as the most meaningful day of my life, Installation as Pastor of Christ Presbyterian Church. As I am reflectingbest best best can seem fleetinghowever most meaningful adds an important depth and additional layer to best. It could be looked at as a journey of maturity I guess. It’s the best day of my life with a naive sense of ministry that God had in store for me through the RV Ministrywhere I learned over eight years of seeing such downtrodden desperation to miracles of transformation. To the day of my Installation Service arriving as a more deeply rooted oak that has weathered many stormsthat God has brought me to the congregation of Christ Presbyterian Church Lakewood for even further development in leadership, discipleship and showing others how I have learned to move in to the neighborhood and love God as we love othersthat we get to do this as a team! God has blessed me with a place to belong! I have a spiritual family now that we get to embrace all God has for us together as we live out HIS plan! I love my family at Christ Presbyterian Church Lakewood and I am so grateful I get to be on team Jesus with them! ALL in and Onward! Happy ONE YEAR Anniversary to my CPC Lakewood Family!!!
