Hello All, We're back from our Facebook break! These last few weeks we have remodeled four of our offices and have accomplished major upgrades (pictures to come soon!). As the holidays are quickly approaching, it's a reminder that next years' tax season is as well! Here are a few tips to get ya going:

Extension Deadline Day is almost over!! Our friends at Blades & Bottles were awesome enough to drop us off some goodies! We think whiskey goes well with tax payments ;) Thank you guys for stopping by with these awesome (and much needed) treats!

We know it can be difficult to keep track of your tax documents, however, it is important that you establish a system so that when the time comes, you are prepared and don't have any unexpected expenses! Here are a few tips to keep in mind: 1. Keep digital and paper copies of all tax related documents, receipts, and statements that accrue throughout the year. 2. Create an organization system with files, labels, and one specific (and secure!) location for easy access. 3. Make ...an excel spreadsheet and update it weekly throughout the year for specific expenses such as: medical, education, home/office, business, and miscellaneous. 4. Annotate all expenses and organize them by category. This will help you remember what you purchased and why. There is nothing worse than having a pile of receipts at the end of the year and not knowing what they're for! 5. If you are moving, keep all tax related documents in one box- this way you know it's exact location and can be prepared to give them to your accountant.
