County of Santa Barbara 15.03.2021

Last Saturday, Plein air artists converged on the Baron Ranch Trail to paint scenes within the Arroyo Quemado watershed. Over a dozen artists were out on the tr...ails capturing the beauty of the wild and scenic landscape. With 8 miles of trails, Baron Ranch is one of the few coastal canyons on the Gaviota Coast that offers public access. The artists, many of whom are members of SCAPE, have been invited by the Wildling Museum in Solvang to submit artworks illustrating specific trails for an exhibition scheduled for this spring. Baron Ranch is one of a dozen trails the artists have to choose from. The Wildling Museum will host the exhibition in collaboration with Healthy People Healthy Trails and the Santa Barbara County Trails Council.
