Looks like one of our patients may have eaten something he shouldn't have! We performed a barium study to track the movement of what our patient ingested through the gastrointestinal tract. Unfortunately, the radiographs showed that the obstruction was not moving, and surgery had to be performed. Surgery revealed large amounts of undigested whole large kibble that was intended for his sister! (And yes, our patient is doing well and resting).
