The loveliest Cottage end-of-the-year (distance) visits occurred today when our amazing teachers delivered children's cubbies and school items to them at home, along with some special gifts to commemorate the end of this school year. At this stop, Teacher Michelle read the first chapter of a special new book, signed by Clara's teachers, and did a jig to a great Cottage song to top things off! Clara was so excited! And there might have been a happy tear or two shed by Teacher Michelle, too. The quarantine keeps us apart, but that doesn't mean we are any less close. Very special. Very Cottage.

As we enter into the holiday season, reading Stone Soup together reinforces the importance of sharing with our community. We ended last week by making our very own stone soup the kids loved contributing ingredients, chopping vegetables and, of course, tasting the final product.
