It is with great sadness that we are notifying our current and former students that our beloved instructor, Mrs. Sandy Beucler, passed away this morning. Services will be held at Dinuba Seventh Day Adventist on Sunday, December 15th, at 3:00 p.m. The address is 325 Eaton Avenue, Dinuba. The pastor presiding over the service invited anyone who knew Mrs. Beucler to send a paragraph about her, and he will try to incorporate it into the service. His contact information is: Cesar De Leon, Fax: 831-464-1454 or email [email protected].

Scholarship Opportunity: Women’s Opportunity Award Candidates must be women attending an undergraduate degree program or a vocational skills training program, and they must be the head of a household with at least one dependent. This could be a single mom or even a spouse who is the primary financial contributor because her spouse is disabled.... There are usually 2-3 winners chosen, and they are awarded anywhere from $1000.00-$3000.00 depending on whether they take first, second, or third place. Our first place winner’s application will then be forwarded to the national scholarship committee to compete for an award of $10,000.00! And there are no restrictions on how this money must be spent. They receive a check, and that money can be spent on living expenses or whatever the scholarship winner needs help with. Here is the link to the application on the Soroptimist International of Visalia site: http://sivisalia.org/projects/womens-opportunity-awards
