Testimonial time - Nick Ray Lambert has recently transferred from COS to Cal State Fullerton as a Theater major. Nick Ray started taking one class (hip hop) with me. Then began taking other genres such as tap and ballet. Thank you Nick for always being ready and willing to think outside the box and explore new things. I hope you take away some of the positive things you learned in our department. Thank you for sharing your talent with our dance department! We will miss you!
COS Dance Department Testimonial - Natalie Ezelle was a COS Student who just transferred to UCSB as an English major. She began as one of my two students who ended up exploring other genres and dancing/acting in the musicals I choreographed. Thank you Natalie for sharing your talent and positivity with our department! I love you and will miss you! Wish you the best always!

For the safety of our community and students, COS is extending the date of remote learning until May 22. Unfortunately, that means that our COS Dance Concert will be cancelled for this semester. Some of you may not know this, but our faculty (Martha Kelly-Fierro, Tiffany Ruiz, and Michelle Lapp), choreographers, and students work on this concert ALL semester long. I'd like to take the time to say THANK YOU to all of them. Your hardwork is always appreciated and never goes unnoticed. Let's hope that what the world is going through comes to an end soon and we are able to share our creativity with you ALL! Please join us next semester for our COS Dance Concert! All of you stay healthy and safe.
Due to the extension of our remote learning at COS, we will not be having face-to-face dance team tryouts. Instead I have made our tryout at a later date than planned and we are doing our tryouts via video submission. Our poster has all the information you need for now. But of course, if you need anymore information, please email me at Imara Quinonez, [email protected]. GO GIANTS!!!
