Coronado Pickleball

Hi Pickleball players. I hope you are all doing well and staying healthy. You’ve probably read that tennis may be starting next week and you’re probably wondering about pickleball. I haven’t heard anything about the Pickleball program. As soon as I hear anything,I will certainly let you know. Stay well and I look forward to seeing you on the Pickleball court.

Due to the Coronavirus, the City of Coronado has cancelled Pickleball until further notice, effective tomorrow 3/14. I will keep you updated and I’ll miss seeing you guys on the court! Stay healthy!

We had our second pickleball outing on Monday 2/17. 19 of us learned how to lawn bowl. Thanks to the lawn bowling instructors. They were great!

Liz held an intermediate clinic on February 8. 9 players participated.

The next social event is scheduled for Monday, February 17. We are going to learn how to Lawn Bowl, here in Coronado. The time is 1:00 - 3:00. Maximum number of players is 36. From there, happy hour at Bluewater or the Brig. The sign up sheet will be at Saturdays pickleball.

Coronado Pickleball had our first social outing of 2020. 23 players enjoyed a chinese buffet and got to know eachother better off the pickleball court.
