Cornell Elementary School PTA

The Marin IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access) is planning a parent education presentation on how we can keep our teachers, kids, families, and community safe as schools re-open. However, given the upcoming deadline for the elementary school return to hybrid survey, as well as mid-winter break, we're not able to have this presentation before parents need to make a decision about sending their kids to in-person school. Thus we've recruited a small panel of local he...alth care and mental health care providers who have volunteered to answer questions parents may have related to health and safety around COVID-19 and children in school. We can answer questions about topics like COVID-19 transmission in schools, COVID-19 testing, masks, mental health, vaccines, and child/family behaviors that decrease risk of COVID-19. CRAFT WITH CORNELL! Create A Snowflake. Share Some Joy. Winter is almost here and although we are apart, let’s create community spirit by making a cool winter craft! Each student will receive a Craft With Cornell kit from the Cornell PTA. All the details of the exciting community project will be provided at materials pick up. Look out for some wintery fun soon

We have good news and bad news... Westbrae Pumpkin Patch is completely sold out of pumpkins! We are so grateful for all who bought pumpkins this year! This was a really important fundraiser for Cornell and we are thrilled with the results (but of course, wish we had more pumpkins to sell)! Thank you!

Are you looking for fun, safe socially distanced ways to celebrate Halloween? Join the Scavenger hunt hosted by albanyinsideout, Cornell PTA, and local businesses! You can download a booklet at tinyurl.com/AIOhalloweenbooklet or pick one up at a participating business. Parade Solano & San Pablo --in costume we hope-- follow the clues to find the business, scan the hidden QR code to reveal a riddle or question. Fill the answer into your booklet. Show your booklet on 10/29, 30, or 31 to get a goody bag. First 250 participants are guaranteed goody bags. **Make sure you find the window featuring Cornell School and post your photo to our FB!
