The exhibit was especially exciting for our office since we designed the museum within the historic building located in Chinatown on Olvera Street. A view of the inside of the museum.

The founder of ChoyAssociates (and Cordova Architects) was showcased at the Chinese American Museum, January of 2012. The exhibit was called 'Breaking Ground: Chinese American Architects in Los Angeles'. It tells how Eugene Kinn Choy, Gilbert L. Leong, Helen Liu Fong and Gin D. Wong helped shape the postwar landscape of Los Angeles. Barton Choy, AIA and Reese Choy are shown here at the entrance to the exhibit.

Grand Opening of Perry's Place - The Perry MacFarlane Sanctuary. Phase 1 has been completed - the interior has been built and is now a home for lost or left behind cats. Phase 2 will be a redesign of the building's exterior and additional amenities for its feline occupants.
