This image was an editorial assignment for Unix World Magazine. We all got canned at Hewlett Packard's User Group magazines when they hired a new design house ...that wanted to eliminate photos from the publications... /urk The ex-HPUG design group got an office across the hall and started Unix World Magazine because we had game in the 80's and the valley was booming... This effect was all done in camera, I used a fog machine with a hose going through a dry ice basket for the tabletop and a cigarette smoking machine for the smoke inside of the globe. We didn't have the Photoshop back then so we actually had to work, and we liked it!

There are around 50 of my images in this installation. They are having a public opening on the 15th...

This is a work-in-progress shot of a building in the south bay. I have been photographing this building as the construction progresses for about 9 months. The image is a 35 megapixel hand held panorama shot with an 80mm lens on a Canon 5D Mk II.

Here is how I have been getting the groovy aerial photos that I have been sharing for the past several months. The chopper has the door removed so that I can h...ang out and get a few good shots without shooting through a window. The drop off is a little steep, its sort of windy and that's an automotive type seat belt. I try to deal :) See more
