By going free, the Dallas Art Museum got a 29% increase in minorities visitors. What does this mean for your organization?

The Brooklyn Museum has a reputation for its diversity and inclusion strategies. It's interesting that they selected their new Director partly because "she made artistic events accessible partly by removing them from museums." Are large museums understanding that they are not their buildings? Yet, we have more and more museums building iconic, larger-than-life buildings...

This started with Michelle Obama's comments at the opening of the Whitney. Very relevant to our thinking...!
