Great Green at Concept 21 We at Concept 21 may be all about Great Footwear and Great Brands as your leading footwear consultancy firm, but we’ve gone Great Green too! We’ve been in our state-of-the-art office building for nearly a year. From the top down, we have a 20 kW solar array, rooftop vegetation area and high efficiency HVAC systems. All of the office lighting systems are LEDs and the windows allow for minimum daily needs for lighting. In our parking garage we hav...e two EV stations. Our CFO takes advantage of this daily and our Communications Director rides an electric bike to work. The building was designed by the late Patrick Killen, who was considered one of the leading architects along LA’s coastline, using Bauhaus principles infused with California beach lifestyles. Concept 21 founder, Brent James, knew Patrick and heard that he was designing this building and he couldn’t resist. Kim Komick and her staff at KKC Fine Homes made sure this building would be a shining example of all of his work in the South Bay. That fact the address is 2101 Pacific Coast Highway and there are 21 parking spaces, were merely coincidental afterthoughts. If you find yourself in LA’s South Bay, we’d love to give you a tour!
