Community Presbyterian Church 06.12.2020

After six months of not gathering, in-person worship was held at the Green Church in Calistoga, led by Pastor Don MacInnes of Napa, on Sunday, September 13. Local 2020 community award winners, Helen Archerd and Virginia Dooley, who were both honored with the Gary Barrett Lifetime Achievement award, were present.

Arnold Erwin Enderlin November 14, 1922 May 15, 2018 Arnold Enderlin passed away peacefully in his sleep at age 95 on May 15, 2018 in his home in Calistoga. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Ann Tamagni Enderlin, his daughters Bobbi and Carol, his son, David, grandchildren Scott and Robin, and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Roy Enderlin of Calistoga. Arnold was born in Calistoga on November 14, 1922. He attended San Mateo Junior College... and served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He served as the local electrician in Calistoga for 42 years. He volunteered his time at Westminster Woods Church camp, serving there for 45 years. Arnold was an active member of the community. He was a member and Past Master of the Masonic Calistoga Lodge 233, where he received the prestigious Hiram Award; member of Calistoga American Legion Post 231; active member of the Community Presbyterian Church for most of his life, serving as an Elder, Sunday School Teacher, Treasurer and Handyman; volunteer at the Sharpsteen Museum, Calistoga Library, and served as trustee on the Calistoga Unified School board. In the last several years, he made wooden toy trains and donated the proceeds to the church, local preschools and to Calistoga Community Gardens. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 1:30 pm at the Community Presbyterian Church, 1407 Third St., Calistoga. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Community Presbyterian Church or to Calabria Hospice, 414 S. Jefferson St., Napa, CA 94559. See more
