Community Medical Centers Careers 20.01.2021

"[Cecilia] clears her days without hesitation to interview 7+ hours each day, back to back... she's completed well over 200 interviews alone since COVID began all while running our two float units and taking on centralized flex staffing!" That's just SOME of the praise our Talent Acquisition team gave Cecilia Romero Perez when they nominated her as a #COVID19HealthcareHero. It's people like Cecilia who help keep our candidate funnel moving so we can continue to hire RNs, LVNs, PCTs, Monitor Techs and so much more. THANK YOU, Cecilia for all you do - our entire hospital system appreciates you! #StrongerTogether

Here’s to the people who stand shoulder to shoulder to make things better. Their drive, dedication and resourcefulness were the inspiration behind our recent TV campaign featuring original works of art by artist David Garibaldi. Over the last few weeks, these paintings have traveled to each of our hospitals for our team members to enjoy and reflect on the essential work they do. We appreciate all their hard work to paint a healthier future for our community!

When Cathryn Lencioni's family was displaced by the Creek Fire in early September, her co-worker Ashley sprung into action. "I work with Ashley in the ICU on opposite shifts. She was one of the first people to call, text and check-in on me and my family. She single-handedly formed a collection of necessities via social media platforms for me and all of my mountain community. I spoke of a few special homeowners that I knew who lost everything and thought that they may need ...some things just to get them started," Cathryn said. "She immediately obtained clothes, healthcare items, toiletries, toys for kids, diapers and so on before the first week of the evacuation hit. I am still overwhelmed by her kindness and giving. When I went to her home to pick up a few items for some displaced families, she had her entire entryway and family room stacked with items. Ashley is a true healthcare hero, she solely considered the well being of her community and the community of others without a second thought. She does not know these people, and will probably never meet these people, yet she has given her time and complete love to all of them. I am extremely lucky to have her as coworker, friend and community activist." Thank you, Ashley, for exemplifying what it means to be a #healthcarehero inside and outside our hospital walls!
