Community Christmas Tree

Thanks to all of you for your kindness and generosity. This year we had many challenges, and with your support, we were able to help near 1300 local children in need. Once again, it was a community effort and we are so grateful! We hope to see you again in 2021 at Vintage Faire Mall and wish you all a safe and healthy New Year! Now for a bit of reflection... COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS TREE - 2020 TWAS THE DAY AFTER... Twas the day after wrapping, and all through the space, not one tag was found not even a trace. But this year was different with Covid-19 You needed to mask, to be on the scene! We shopped on our own, stocking clothes and toys, For all our special girls and boys! With help from our elves, who worked day and night The children’ needs, always in sight. They hustled and bustled, with love in their hearts, filling all orders, and checking each part. And as we envisioned, each child received that ‘gift of hope’, so they could believe! We thank those who helped us, with kindness and love, and hope that you know, you are blessed from above. The boxes now empty and stacked with great care, Are stored for next year without any flair. So now as we settle and give time to our own, we can look back and say, twas a job well-done. In looking it over, we rose to great heights, and we say, THANKS TO YOU ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT! Our Mission: A child, no matter their circumstance, deserves to live the dream of a Magical Christmas Morning! Our elves are in the wraproom, and of course with fewer volunteers and masks according to our County guidelines, and they are processing gifts for our kids, as I write! Please Like & Share We cannot do this without your help. We are providing gifts for 1500 kids and due to Covid-19 we don't have our tree at the Mall. Tuesday, December 1st, is #givingtuesday2020. Created in response to Black Friday, Giving Tuesday is a day for people to support their favorite not-for-profits with a holiday donation, and perhaps encourage others to do the same.
