Just pulled some crystal in glaze pieces out of the kiln. We are getting ready for Benicia s Peddlers faire. Really happy with the finish on these bottles.

Went to "Little Art Shop" in the Benicia Tannery building on Saturday. Wonderful work and wonderful prices...got 2 new mugs that fit beautifully in my kitchen. Sits well with the Rod Guyer cookie jar. As it works out the artist for the mugs is Solano Collage ' s own Rod Guyer ' teaching assistant. Love the mugs, Thanks John.

Ok... Here are some of the pieces that will be part of the yard sale . We will be ready at 9:00 for early bird buyers.nothing in any of these pics will be sold for more than $10.00, and most are $5.00. I don't expect them to last. There is also so many golf clubs and even full sets of clubs. I hope everyone gets a chance to stop by.. 9-3 is the time frame. The address is 1480 Delwood here in Vallejo. Much more to see... this is only the extra bisque work that has been gathering. We want them all to find a home.

It is really happening.. The yard sale is on for this weekend. There is a lot of stuff that is going to be there. Every year we wind up with many unclaimed pieces and this year we are putting them on the block so that they may find a great home. The money that is raised will go to buying new aprons for the children's classes. Angie and I have been glazing off many of the left behind bowls,cups,planters,and some much much more. I think it is a good way of keeping the class c...ost down and not have to throw away these wonderful creations, and we are playing with glazes on top of that. In a couple of days I will be posting some pics of some of the works going for very low prices... Almost all will be 5 to 10 dollars. We are also opening a small retail area that will be avalible during class times. Along with Angie and my own work we are showing some student work that would love to find their permanent home. It has been brought to my attention( by some of my own kids) that next week end is mother's day. So we are going for the third week end this month to have our yard sale. I really hadn't thought about it and have been set straight...lots of unique clay art will be at the yard sale . We will also be showing off our new retail space that will be showing many of our students work that will be available to purchase. So sorry for the change of dates, the year is just flying by

The seasons are changing and the sun is going to come out. We are hard at work making a few changes in the studio. I am hoping anyone that could have finished work that you haven't picked up will PLEASE try to come by this month (April) and pick up . It is still here and waiting for you. Now for the good stuff coming. We hope, the second week end in May to have a yard sale, mostly clay made items..... any pieces that have been left behind for months will be looking for a ho...me. All the money collected from these pieces is going towards new gear for the kids classes, we could really use new aprons....We will also be debuting a new retail area that will be selling new works including some of the kids' best efforts, and they are really amazing works. We are hard at work! !!! Treasure Island Flee market is this weekend and we will be there. We will still have or usual Saturday class being taught by our own Miss Angie. She will be waiting for all of our students to come and play with clay. The Treasure Island event is both Saturday and Sunday. We will have some really amazing work out for sale. I only do 2 or 3 shows a year and this looks like a good one. They are having a Hawaiian them. ..You can check their Web site for more info on all the fun. ... I wanted to show some of what we will be showing, some student work as well. .....

I wanted to let everyone know that our one and only night, adult only, class is getting ready to once again get under way. Carol Parker ...if your out there. ...I have a wonderful lighthouse for you. The class is onThursday evenings from 6-9 and costs 20.00. It is an adult only session so feel, ...some what free. ....to bring your favorite beverage and perhaps a snack to share. There is always plenty. In the first session I will do a demo on the wheel, crowd's choice on the piece. We will also do a studio tour so that we all know where things go. ..... It will still be a bit cool so dress warm. Hope to see you this Thursday evening. If you would like to give me a heads up that would be great, I can be better prepared
