NASA's Europa Clipper will orbit around Jupiter in order to perform a detailed investigation of Europa -- a world that shows strong evidence for an ocean of liquid water beneath its icy crust and which could host conditions favorable for life. The mission will send a highly capable, radiation-tolerant spacecraft into a long, looping orbit around Jupiter to perform repeated close flybys of the icy moon. Columbus is proud to be involved in this project. Stay tuned for more updates!

The Mars Society held an international competition to design a Mars colony for 1,000,000 inhabitants. The plan had to incorporate technical design, economics, and social, cultural, political, and aesthetic design. One of our employees, David C. Spencer, worked on this project alongside another student and a local artist. Out of 175 entries, their team made it to the 'Top 20' and their concept will be published in the book 'Mars City States: New Societies for a New World.' The next round of judging will determine the Top 10 entries out of the current 20, and those 10 teams will present their designs at the (virtual) International Mars Society Convention in October. Stay tuned for more information!
