Each year, we look forward to National Night Out and coming together with our community members and businesses for a fun family-friendly event. This year, COVID...-19 forced us to postpone the event until October. In addition to the date change, we also had to modify our event a bit, to best suit the public health order requirements that may be present at that time. So come join us, the Colma Fire Department, Broadmoor Police Department, and California Highway Patrol for our: *** National Night Out Drive-Thru *** Unconventional times bring unconventional ideas. While we won’t be able to mingle and chat together, like years past, we will still be able to pass on important safety information and other goodies. It will just be from the comfort of your own vehicles. Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 4pm-5pm Colma Community Center Parking Lot 1520 Hillside Boulevard, Colma Colma Firemen's Social Club

At approximately 12:48 am this morning, Colma Police Officers were dispatched to an alarm call at the Best Buy Store located at 200 Colma Boulevard. Upon arriva...l, it was determined that the building had been burglarized. Officers located three suspects still on the property with numerous electronics in their possession. The three suspects were taken into custody without incident. The three suspects were identified as Keonna Davis, a 24-year old female resident of Oakland; Alex Scott, an 18-year old female resident of Richmond; and Kalia Washington, a 19-year old female resident of Richmond. Officers from the Daly City Police Department, Broadmoor Police Department, and Pacifica Police Department all responded to assist with the investigation. A search of the business was conducted and it was clear of any additional suspects. Additional suspected stolen property from stores throughout the Bay Area was also located in the suspect vehicle. The suspects were booked into the San Mateo County Jail on several felony charges. Further investigation determined that approximately 15 suspects broke into the Best Buy and fled with an estimated $100,000.00 to $150,000.00 worth of stolen merchandise.
