Taking Care of your Finish These are our recommendations for the first thirty days after your paint job. However, these are handy instructions that should be followed regardless of the age of your paint to keep it looking shiny and healthy. Commercial Car Washes (Drive-thru’s are the worst!!!) should be avoided, wash with cool water and with a very mild household detergent diluted in water. (Meguiars Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo and Conditioner is great!)... Wash your car in the shade, never in the hot sun. Extreme heat or cold should be avoided. In hot weather, keep the car in the shade whenever possible. Never Dry Wipe your vehicle with a dry cloth! (Instead, use a clean microfiber cloth, and a quick detail spray) Gravel roads should be avoided. Remember to drive slowly!!! Parking under trees or near factories with heavy smoke fall-out can cause damage. Anti-freeze, if spilled on the painted surface, should be wiped off immediately.

When having your car repaired, its important to remember: 1. No law requires you to get more than one estimate 2. You are not obligated to use any particular shop to obtain repairs. You choose the shop and authorize the repairs. 3. You do not have to accept the Insurance Company's appraisal of the damage. See the "Appraisal Clause" in your policy to resolve differences. 4. You are responsible for the cost of repairs. Financial agreements must be completed before the vehicle c...an be released. 5.
