The Inclusivity, Diversity, and Equity (TIDE) Task Force in ICSA has been working on connecting college sailors with outreach opportunities. Our committee of current sailors, coaches, and alumni are focused on providing practical and actionable initiatives. This is one step on a long journey towards a more inclusive, diverse, and equitable sailing association.

Over the past few weeks, a group of current sailors, recent alumni, and coaches have been discussing inclusivity, diversity and equity within college sailing. As we work toward a brighter future for ICSA, we'd like to draw our community's attention to two action items being initiated by the TIDE task force... 1. SURVEY: We recognize that hearing stories from individuals in our community is an essential part of the process of increasing our inclusivity, diversity, and equity. ...If you identify as BIPOC (black, Indigenous and people of color) and are willing to share your experience within the college sailing community, please share with us using this link >> https://forms.gle/3ezcy3DoH93drBxD6 2. TOWN HALL: Hosted via zoom, open to everyone on July 22 @ 8pm EST. Discussion topics and zoom link will be posted right here on Facebook leading up to the meeting. We appreciate your willingness to engage in this conversation in advance! And finally some supplemental items to put on your radar... If there is an incident that you would like to report officially, please use this link >> https://collegesailing.org/resources/reporting If you are unable to attend the town hall or want to contact the task force directly, you may email them at [email protected]
