From Times of San Diego: "It’s the second round of funding under the special fund, which leverages solar tax benefits that are normally unavailable to nonprofits due to their tax-exempt status. The five nonprofits in the latest round were chosen based on an evaluation of their mission along with the technical merits and economic benefits of the projects. CollectiveSun is proud to work with a very wide variety of Nonprofit and Tax-exempt organizations! We have recently noticed that more and more schools are interested in going solar, which is incredibly exciting and inspiring. In 2019 we partnered with Colorado based Ecology Solar to install a 230kW rooftop solar array on Inspire Elementary School in Denver, Colorado. Inspire Elementary is a 90,000-square-foot facility whose mission is to tap their students’ passions and learning styles to offer an education that nurtures the whole child.
