The connection I have to my facials can be attributed to many things. In the back of my mind I would like to think that being a water sign draws me to the ocean elements of my Organic Facials. When immersed and soaked in hot water, this portion of dehydrated algae provides a bioavailable and nutrient rich serum for your skin. The transformation into a soft gel serum is incredible and felt throughout your treatment and brings your skin firming, brightening, and hydrating pro...perties. I’m lucky enough to have seen the true desire and love for my facial treatments this last year, as all appointments are currently booked out for 90 days. You encourage me to continue perfecting my craft. I can’t wait to tell you what else I have in store for you! I’ll tell you one part of my secret: I’m heading up to San Francisco for a two day, 16 hour workshop next month and I am SO excited!

Okay! Let’s talk about a serious glow up over here. I don’t mean glow up from the outside, but rather the inside. 10 years ago I was 20 years old and didn’t know my place in the world or where I fit in it. 10 years ago I was waiting to be exhilarated by something that seemed so out of reach, and I didn’t know what it was. Becoming an esthetician and helping others became my calling one decade ago. At 20 I told my parents I wanted to go to school to become an esthetician. I...t was the one thing I truly stayed serious about and worked hard to succeed in. One year later, I moved to the Bay Area and completed night classes while working. I remained stagnant at my front desk job for another year and had an unfortunate experience that pushed me to begin looking for my first job as an esthetician. No call back after no call back left me shattered. But in life, it only takes that one person. That one, yes. I remained loyal and dedicated to that one yes for 6 years. I started at the very bottom and worked as the front desk receptionist for 3 months. This was also my opportunity to be trained in house for Sugaring. It was sink or swim for me, and if learning sugaring secured me a steady job, I knew I had to be the best. Over the course of a couple years, I learned to master my craft and truly loved it. It was tough. Learning sugaring is not for the faint of heart! That’s why not everyone does it. Years later I had a strong following, and the shiny new title as Director of Operations and Manager of a small business. If I had told my 20 year old self that by the end of the decade I would become a confident and empowered business owner, I would have laughed and thought, impossible! Not me. As the end of the decade closes, I’m going to celebrate my setbacks, my accomplishments, and my will to push forward. Now, that’s what I call a glow up! So here’s the rested and happy face of a more intuitive and awakened woman. This wild ride has just begun. Remember to love yourself at every stage in life, follow your passions, and watch yourself bloom. Here’s to 2020! @ Santa Clara, California

Do you recognize this gorgeous mask? The Black Algae Flash Mask is a power house exfoliating product suitable for even the most sensitive skin. Fast acting enzymes work to dissolve dead skin cells, while Hematite minerals firm and tone your skin. Pro tip: Apply a small amount after cleansing, and mask while you shower. The steam helps further activate your enzyme and makes for an easier cleanup. I benefit from this mask 1-2x/week depending on my skins needs. Exfoliating weekly decreases oil and dead skin cell buildup, therefore decreasing breakouts, congestion, and inflammation while brightening your skin.

Healing acne and delivering anti-aging benefits one High Frequency session at a time. More specifically, I love to use this tool for underlying blemishes. You know, those few spots that just never seem to go away? The ones that stubbornly never quite make it to the skins surface. This tool in session will deliver targeted antibacterial and purifying benefits that goes beyond the skins outermost layer. ... My advice? Never, ever pick! Whether the inflammation has surfaced or not. Instead, treat with an esthetician recommended mask and targeted spot treatment at home! Say it with me, progress over perfection. It will take time, but allow your skin to heal and trust the process.

When I opened my business I never intended to post videos, or become a thing. I just knew I wanted to continue to push myself and exceed expectations. To provide a useful look into my world of being a Sugarista and esthetician. I’m doing the same thing as I was doing years ago. Just more publicly now! @sweetandtruesugaring Soft Paste is used in all of my leg videos. ... I do not own the rights to this music @billieeilish

Yep! Getting your eyebrows shaped can make them pop better than ever before. I have some tricks up my sleeve, even if you think you don’t have much to work with! . . . .... Pro sugaring paste was used to create these lovely brows. I don’t use any tools to apply the sugar paste, just a steady and experienced hand! See more

The golden solution for smooth and radiant skin. Sugar glides on at body temperature making it perfect for even the most sensitive skin. I need only the same ball of sugar throughout your entire session to complete your service. Afterwards, it goes straight into the waste bin where it will eventually dissolve. This makes sugaring the healthiest and most environmentally friendly form of hair removal!

Long post: It’s almost been 1 year since I decided to go solo and open my very own business! (I opened only 6 weeks later!) The decision came quickly and in the process I have learned how important it is to continue to challenge myself while swimming into unfamiliar waters. It’s been the most gratifying, overwhelming, and courageous thing I’ve ever done! I’m still learning, and one aspect I will never falter on is to continue to take care of myself and wellbeing. For me, this... means thriving outside of my business and spending time with loved ones or just myself. This weekend I’ve had the opportunity to celebrate with family, eat well, and spend time with my husband. Finding a work/life balance can be tricky when you own your own business, or when you ARE your business. But only I can lay down the foundation for success on both sides by putting in the energy for my business and personal life. So here’s me, on a HUGE purple chair, enjoying the Labor Day weekend with family, and looking forward to margaritas and tacos as we head out for San Diego today! See more
