Code 3 Angels

Today, Code 3 Angels, along with the Armenian Relief Society, @ars_1910 delivered much needed goods to 6 displaced families from Artsakh. The essentials were purchased through the sale of "Artsakh Strong" merchandise designed by @arpikrikorian. The day was filled with mixed emotions as the excitement and elation of the children uplifted our spirits and put a smile on our faces. Aved, a 5 year old from Hadrut was the center of attention as he took the initiative to show us a...round his new home. We also met with a family who recently lost their 19 year old son, brother, and grandson while serving in our military. The soldier's mother could not speak as she was completely overcome with emotions. The trauma associated with the loss of her son, coupled with the uprooting of her whole family, put her at a loss for words. The family's patriarch , a 78 year old former soldier himself, expressed his will to fight the enemy and finish the war once and for all. His sense of patriotism was infectious and inspiring to us all. Today"s visit reaffirmed our commitment to our brothers and sisters in Artsakh as this war will have lasting effects for years to come.

We trained the volunteers today and taught them about bleeding control measures. In addition to classroom instruction, they participated in practical application exercises.
