Dee is shopping on Fairfax for a long time and she noticed that we are the only store on this street with a bright yellow awning. So to make it easy for her friends she tell them "Go to the yellow ones! They are the best."

Joannie is a very nice lady from Beverly Hills. Her daughter introduced her to our market a few months ago. She looked very happy when she got to the register. Before I got to say "hello" as usual she said in a loud and pleased voice: "I love this market! The produce is always good, the service is nice and the staff is even nicer." Thank you Joannie. Sour grapes are here! No, it's not what you think. It's the real thing. Little green and very sour grapes. Much praised in the Middle Eastern and Eastern European cuisine these odd looking grapes are used much like lemon juice in a variety of soups. They give a pleasant fruity flavor to the soup. The season for them it's not very long. About a month and a half. They can be frozen for later use.
