Most sadly for us, that includes one right there on the Gualala shore. Please respect the ocean and your loved ones. Admire from afar, and get info on the situation and conditions before you go. It's a popular location for a long walk between the Gualala River and the surf, and to build mighty fortresses of the huge drift wood and logs. #oceansafety

Our company serves two counties, and we are proud to support the highest standards in both locations! Availability calendars are accurate online, but you can't book online right now. NOTICE: Hello Wonderful Patrons, Our local community is experiencing a Covid infection outbreak. Due to the outbreak and the new stay at home order for Sono...ma County, starting Saturday, Dec. 12th, we are going to close and let this latest Covid infection wave go by. We currently have no infections among our staff, but this is a small community and the degree of separation is getting smaller and smaller. We are hoping this will be a brief closing. Happy New Year from Gualala, California!

Big surf today - Saturday January 2nd. The Gualala River is pretty full. At least it is pretty clear to not walk on the beach.

We'd like our neighbors to know that we have a few Sea Ranch vacation guests arriving today the 11th. They are well informed and prepared for arriving with their own supplies and staying home or out on the trails, and very grateful for the chance to do so. We've cancelled all the rest of our December and early January reservations for Sea Ranch homes. Our hearts go out to others in our community currently contending with illness, and also those of you with the need to suspend business activities for a while. May God bless and keep us.

NEW ORDERS in Sonoma County including The Sea Ranch area: Effective Saturday 12/12/2020 until January 9 hotels, vacation rentals and other lodging will only be allowed to offer accommodations for those coming to the area for essential work or for COVID-19 mitigation and containment measures. Therefore, we are unable to accept reservations or receive guests for Sea Ranch homes while that Order is in effect. Please stay well. We want to see you again as soon as we're able!

This practice of the Big Guys is shameful, and it's been an issue all year. Many small operators have been giving full refunds because its the right thing to do and are now facing severe hardship.
