Thank you to all those that joined us for an awesome summer on the beach! Sometimes I wonder who has more fun, me or the kids . It’s debatable. They definitely keep me young and constantly moving! I strive to model a healthy, active lifestyle for these kids. Each year I take on new challenges physically and mentally and as I approach 40 years on this earth on 9/30 I will be celebrating by summiting half dome on Friday October 2nd! - Thank you to all those that have supported... my running fundraisers over the years. Your support has gone to organizations such as the Santa Monica YWCA, @digchildhoodcenter , Colin Kaepernick's @yourrightscamp , and @homeboyindustries. I want to keep supporting causes that I believe in and one that has hit close to home since I was a child comes to mind. Someone very close to me fought a bout with breast cancer when I was 5 and now once again this year. News just came back that she is cancer free, but I do know of many that have not been so fortunate. Breast cancer is a disease that has affected many, many people and I want to join the fight. Goal: $1000 #YosemiteNationalPark just reopened today and it appears that the air will continue to improve and should be decent a week from now. Here's a little bit about the hike: It is about 15 miles round trip with a 5000 foot climb and the last 400 feet are using cables to climb up the steep granite rock. Most people do it in 10-12 hours. I plan to do it in under 8, maybe even 7. I have already been training at altitude and will be ready to go next Friday.
